22 Apr Mamie’s little helper xxx

Busy, busy, busy, it is  not just the bees that are busily buzzing at Lacomté !  With gorgeous weather, yesterday was a real Family affair, including our two grandsons.   We, along with some friends, spent the day strimming, grass cutting, painting, concreting, fencing, pressure washing and  soooo, so much more.    With soaring,  feel good summertime  temperatures, nature has exploded into stunning beauty.  During the last week all the leaves have uncurled themselves to enjoy the heat of the sunshine, still or shiny and new their waxy coating shining beautifully in the sunlight, as yet unscorched by the ferocious heat of the summer sun. We are busy from dawn until dusk, basking within the relaxing natural sounds of all the wildlife, getting Lacomté ready  for our up-coming season. And, how times flies !!!  After cutting grass together all day on Friday, without getting bored,  my little helper proudly showed his Daddy how he could drive the tractor all on his own now, without his Mamie on the tractor to help.  Amazing for just 4 1/2 years old.  And this year he did not fall asleep at the wheel either !!!!
