30 Mar Orchid Beauty here at Lacomté

As April showers have ruled the month of March so works outside have been just a little wet !!!  This morning the first notes of the cuckoo’s calling meandered it’s way beautifully around the park, a sure sign that Spring is at long last here. However, it is sad to think that with her arrival and the beauty of her song, their is a little Mummy bird somewhere that is going to lose her babies, having them replaced by the massive baby cuckoo ! The sun is shining at the moment, and the orchids are beginning to push their way up through the earth to bask in the warmth of the springtime sun.  Not long now till we open,  busy, busy, busy !!!!
