23 Jun Make hay whilst the sun shines !!!

With ever hot rising temperatures here in the Vallée de la Dordogne, the local Farmers are busy cutting fields, ready for turning and then baling. Yesterday it was Lacomté’s turn and the beauty of the long wild grasses along with beautiful wild flowers that were happily swaying in the hot summer breeze are no more ! However, we have also kept an area of long grass so the insects and other animals still have somewhere to hide hopefully safely away from the birds of prey and other animals that may like them for their dinner !!!!
